Download and install
Run the installer for your platform. No admin rights required on Linux and Windows. macOS requires system extension approval on first launch.

Get your device code
The scanner shows a 4-character code (like ABCD-1234). Enter it at app.zaicore.com/devices/activate to pair the scanner to your account.

It runs in the background
No interaction needed. Zai will message you when something needs attention. Everything else is automatic.
